Internet is more and more used in special schools.At Special Middle School "Constantin Paunescu" a group of young students and teachers have developed an innovative project.
By this project, the activities of children with special needs will be available worldwide via a blog.
This school year, Special Middle School "Constantin Paunescu" became a member of the Academy of Central European Schools.
A group of teachers and students initiated the project "Media voices 4 special teens."
Prof. Elena Eigel, project coordinator:"Project involves educational activities that will be published on our blog, or on the Serbian partner's magazine "Razvitak" (which means Development). We wish to show that these children with special needs are capable to be useful for their community and to change the perception of society that they are only in a position of persons in need."
The project includes the creation of the blog "Media voices 4 special teens" where information about children's activities will be posted in English and Romanian. In turn, partners in Serbia will post information in English and Serbian. One of those involved in the project is the volunteer Florin Ungureanu Toma, eighth grade student at School "A. Russo".
Toma Florin Ungureanu, student volunteer into the project:"Through our National volunteering programme, I was selected from my school and my role in this project is to be the manager of this blog and I'm the first to know all the news and will give you all the news on, that everyone knows what is happening in this project".
The school headteacher says that this is not the first project they run in support of children with special needs.
Sorin Gabriel Danila, headteacher, School "Constantin Paunescu": Through this project we want to make ourselves known, to present our specific, to work with partner schools and our children to be involved in activities that are somehow more special than they have every day."
The project "Media voices 4 special teens" will end in March 2013. Meanwhile, the School "Constantin Paunescu" will receive a visit of project partners. The initiative is about schools from countries such as Albania, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia or Slovenia.

Ovaj projekat aktivnosti dece sa posebnim potrebama čini dostupnim širom sveta putem bloga.
Ove školske godine, Specijalna srednja škola "Constantin Paunescu" je postala član Akademije srednjeevropskih škola. Grupa nastavnika i učenika pokrenula je projekat "Medijski glasovi za tinejdžere sa posebnim potrebama."
Projekt uključuje stvaranje bloga "Medijski glasovi za tinejdžere sa posebnim potrebama" gde će informacije o dečijim aktivnostima biti objavljene na engleskom i rumunskom jeziku. Sa druge strane, partneri u Srbiji će objaviti informacije na engleskom i srpskom jeziku. Jedan od onih koji su uključeni u projekt je volonter Florin Ungureanu Toma, učenik osmog razreda u školi "A. Russo".
Toma Florin Ungureanu, student volonter u projektu: "Kroz naše nacionalne programe volontiranja , izabran sam kao predstavnik moje škole, a moja uloga u projektu je blog menadžer, ja sam prvi koji će znati sve novosti i pružiću vam informacije, da svako zna što se događa u našem projektu ".
