TV STUDIO B - VIDEO (with transcript and translation to English)

From  TV Studio B we have  got a video that was recorded on 21 November 2012. - it was an announcement of  our project activities on the  aces project "Media Voices For Special Teens,"  live in  the morning program, " Belgrade, Good Morning". Thank you very much to Nebojsa Djurdjevic,      journalist of TV Studio B who provided this video for us!

TRANSCRIPT AND TRANSLATION TO ENGLISH:  (by Google)

Journalist (in the studio): Stay with us ... We should get out .Shall we? Or not? Now let's see ... Yes! Nebojsa is ready. He has a good story. In relation with what I just discussed with Davor that we should be good, especially when it comes to our actions -among the people with whom we live, and help those in need - like children who attend  one really special school - special in the sense that it does much for  their normal life and especially by teachers who are committed to them - in the heart of Belgrade. It is a school for hearing impaired children or children who do not hear at all. Nesha has a story - live. We're listening and watching ...
Nebojsha Djurdjevic(journalist):Yes, it is. Well, it's about how we relate to those who need help, but on the other hand - to accept them as equal, because, of course, they are also members of this society, as we all are. They have the qualities and faults, which they have, but we all have some qualities and faults. Here we are, at School "Stefan Decanski." School anniversary is close , so let's start with it... Next week is how many years?
Iva: Proslavlja se 115 godina Škole "Stefan Dečanski" svečanom akademijom u Domu sindikata, u četvrtak, 29. novembra.
Iva: We are celebrating 115 years  of the School "Stefan Decanski" with an academy in the House of Trade Unions, on Thursday, 29 November.
Nebojsha Djurdjevic(journalist): 115 years of tradition, the existence and working of the school, tells us that it has  great professional staff and the projects that you do are  recognized as something that is very well done ...
Iva:Pa, jeste. Škola učestvuje u nekim nacionalnim i medjunarodnim projektima.
Iva: Well, yes... The school participates in some national and international projects. We participate and have became a member of the Academy of Central European Schools or ACES, this year. In fact it is an initiative of Erste Foundation, which is coordinated  byInterkukturelles Zentrum in Vienna and VČELI DOM from Slovakia. Every year they make concours for applications for school projects that are done in cooperation between schools in the region of Central and Eastern Europe. The complete network consists of 15 countries. Since this year's  global theme was media, and how we perceive the world and create it using the media, we have written the project, in cooperation with the Romanian School - Special School "Constantin Paunescu" from the town of Iasi. The project is called "Media Voices for Special teens." In the framework of this project we want to increase knowledge and raise awareness of general public on children with special needs and their capabilities and potentials. Next Wednesday we are going to organize a presentation of the project and a creative workshop, where they will  make a variety of useful products, which we will later present at a selling exhibition, and consequently, our pupils will show what they can - or some of their  potentials and capabilities.
Nebojsha Djurdjevic(journalist):I've said it, in fact, that each one of us has its own qualities and faults - and they have their qualities. And  here we are - we will not tell that we break off classes, but we are disturbing a little your educational activities - we can see that they work with some  media ...
Iva: Jeste. Ovo su konkretno naši grafički dizajneri, naš četvrti stepen. Imamo i naš školski časopis.
Iva: Yes,they do.These are, actualy, our graphic designers, our fourth degree of secondary education.. We have our school magazines. It is our media - for parents, teachers and all our guests to whom it s distributed. We've also created a blog of our project, which is located on the Internet at aces128.blogspot.com, and is trilingual - in Serbian, Romanian and English language. So far, it has had, for example, over 1500 visit, which is, in only  two or three months a considerable success.
Nebojsha Djurdjevic(journalist): It's great. Natasha, as the president of the  Students 'parliament you have been in Slovenia as a representative of this project, so how it is there, how were you received and what are your impressions?
Natasha: Well, I was surprised because I was well received. We hung out  together and I've made some new friends.
Nebojsha Djurdjevic(journalist):Tell me which media are your favorites, which ones do you like the most?
Nataša: Pa, sad...
Natasha: Well,now...
Nebojša Djurdjević(novinar): Kakav je projekat, ti učestvuješ u projektu?
Nebojsha Djurdjevic(journalist): What does the project look like - you participate in the project?
Natasha:Yes, Project is super. I am satisfied with participating in it and with the fact that, although we are handicapped in some way, we can contribute to our society.
Nebojša Djurdjević(novinar):Ja ne vidim problem. Ti i ja komuniciramo odlično. A posebno kada bude 115 godina - nije mala stvar.
Nebojsha Djurdjevic(journalist): I do not see a problem. You and I communicate well. When you say you  are disabled or handicapped people always think something. Everyone has their faults, but we all have or qualities at the first place. And of course, we are herein  a few days again, so we'll see each other. And especially on the celebration of 115 years - it isn't a small thing.
Iva: Hvala vam. Naravno, pozvani ste...
Iva: Thank you. Of course, you are invited...
Studio...
Nebojsha Djurdjevic(journalist):Thank you. Well, you heard how it functiones just a small part of what is happening at school, "Stefan Decanski"that we were able to present.  I have previouslymentioned thhis school in the morning, when in fact I wanted to mention another school, but here we are finally in this school, and we will comemore often to visit it. Of course, there are many smart  children and it is our task to give them a chance to show what they know. Studio ...
Journalist (in the studio):You said it wisely. I have nothing to add, except to remember what you've said . Many thanks Nebojša.From the School "Stefan Decanski," in the center of Belgrade, a school for children with impaired hearing or completely deaf  our Nebojsa Djurdjevic was reporting. That was the last  live contribution for this morning, but also a motvation to reflect on the topic of how much opportunities we give our children  ...
