U petak, 30. novembra, u Školi za oštećene sluhom - nagluve "Stefan Dečanski" u Beogradu, održan je peti međunarodni simpozijum "Koračam i slušam". Tema simpozijuma je uvek ista - novine i iskustva u radu sa osobama sa ugrađenim kohlearnim implantom.Ovom stručnom skupu prisustvovali su stručnjaci iz različitih oblasti medicine i defektologije koji rade sa decom sa ugrađenim kohlearnim implantom (lekari - specijalisti otorinolaringologije i hirurgije, logopedi i surdopedagozi. U gostima su nam bile i kolege iz brojnih škola za gluve iz Srbije, ali i iz inostranstva (predstavnici Centra za rehabilitaciju dece sa oštećenim sluhom iz Banja Luke - Republika Srpska, BIH; predstavnici Škole za gluve iz Sofije - Bugarska; naši aces projektni partneri iz Specijalne škole "Constantin Paunescu" iz Jašija - Rumunija), stručnjaci iz Austrije, profesori Fakulteta za specijalnu edukaciju i rehabilitaciju Univerziteta u Beogradu, predstavnici Ministarstva prosvete, nauke i tehnološkog razvoja Republike Srbije i Zavoda za unapređivanje obrazovanja i vaspitanja. U holu, ispred svečane sale škole, firme koje se bave
proizvodnjom i distribucijom kohlearnih implanta organizovale su izložbu svojih proizvoda.

On Friday, 30 November, in the School for hearing impaired "Stefan Decanski" in Belgrade, the fifth international symposium "I walk and I listen."was held. Theme of the conference is always the same - news and experiences in working with people with built in cochlear implant (CI). This meeting was attended by experts from various fields of medicine and special education who work with children with cochlear (doctors - specialists in otolaryngology and surgery, speech and hearing pathologists and therapists, special education teachers). Our guests were also our colleagues from a numerous schools for deaf people from Serbia and abroad (representatives from Center for rehabilitation of children with hearing loss in Banja Luka - Serbian Republic, Bosnia and Herzegovina; representatives of the School for Deaf in Sofia - Bulgaria; our aces project partners from the Special school "Constantin Paunescu" in Iasi - Romania),
experts from Austria, professors of the Faculty for Special Education and rehabilitation University of Belgrade, representatives of the Minsitry of Education, Science and Technological Development of Republic of Serbia and the Institute for the advancement of Education. In the school hall companies engaged in the production and distribution of cochlear implants have organized an exhibition of their products.
